Timberrrrrrrrr

Last night Eric and I went to LaCrosse for his work Christmas party. It was a great time as always. The wives always get together and talk about anything and everything, and the guys always get together and talk about work (go figure!) Their company has had the party at the same venue for 3 previous years, and this year they moved it to a place called Stoney Creek.

The dinner was delicious, and when our part of the party ended we went a bar located in the building. It was interesting. I felt like I was in lumberjack heaven. The place had red and black plaid curtains, an old man band playing Christmas tunes on a bass, fiddle, and guitar, and it smelled like maple syrup. Needless to say we were the youngest people there.

As the night was coming to a close, the boys were getting their door prizes from the party, and Eric and his friend Murray realized that someone had stolen theirs right off the bar! Not a big deal, but what a rotten thing to do. I guess not everyone feels in the Christmas spirit!
