Erin's Visit

This past weekend my old college roommate Erin came to Winona for our annual festival called Steamboat Days. It was a little different than in years past (due to me being prego), but I did make it down to the beer tent Friday and Saturday. I was actually happy to be there seeing everyone. I did have to suffer stepped on toes and some beer spilled on me, but I will survive! By the time we got there Friday night Eric was in fine form dancing away with Dusty to the band. It was pure entertainment.

We watching some softball on Saturday and had a cookout at our friend's Doug and Heidi's house. I don't get out much living on the other side of the river, so it was so nice to be with people...adults! What a concept. :)

On Sunday we went to a friend of Erin's house and watched the parade. It rained a bit, but we were in good company. I couldn't help but think that parades are going to have a whole new meaning when we've got kids. We will no longer be annoyed that we are seeing our 63rd fire truck, we will be watching him go by hoping he blares that annoying engine. Ahhh...parenthood!
