Dells Weekend

For Eric and Amy's birthdays we decided to make a little overnight trip to the Dells. Our day started out at Cascade Mountain with some snow tubing. We (Eric, Amy, Nick, and I) met up with Lindsay and Kevin there. The place was absolutely packed, and we decided not to stay the full 2 hours we paid for. I couldn't believe the amount of people that were there skiing and tubing - and there was no special event. It's always that way!

We ventured our way to Chula Vista resort where we checked into our gorgeous condo. It looked really nice online, but looks can be deceiving. Not at this place! We had a 2 bath, 2 bedroom condo with a full kitchen and 3 person hot tub. Our friends Matt and Laina met up with us there along with Matt's daughter Mirranda. We took advantage of the indoor water park and had a blast. There were some very cool tube rides there!

After that, we retired to the condo where we munched on some delicious dirt cake Amy made along with pizza and snacks. We played some card games and the boys enjoyed the hot tub. Most of us were in bed by 11ish, but Eric and Matt stayed up talking and having a good time until 5am!

The trip ended with a drive back to Winona to spend some time with Eric's parents. We finally picked up Lucy and took a loooooong nap once we got home! I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather and had an equally wonderful weekend. :)
