I decided to stick around this weekend instead of heading to Altoona. Eric hunted this morning and then we went for a little family excursion. We started at Ferguson's Morningside Orchard. I can't believe how
cold it was. When we left it was sunny with blue skies. I felt like a bad parent - no hat or coat for Reilly. All the other kids were bundled up from head to toe and then there's our poor child. He seemed to enjoy himself regardless. We checked out the petting zoo and picked out our first pumpkins.
Next we headed to Galesville for the Apple Affair. Apparently it's a pretty big deal. It's like a miniature street fair where people sell their arts and crafts and you can get a piece of the 10-foot apple pie. We didn't feel like waiting in the forever line and headed home.
This picture cracks me up - you can see just how windy it was!
Swinging bridge in Galesville.
It's hunting season at our house...
Have a great weekend everyone!
