I've only been waiting about 3 months for this process to be completed. We had pillars put in when the front porch was put on. The contractor thought we'd love them. I hated them - a lot. I had craftsman in mind. Not sure what you'd call what we got. See the before and after below.

Much better, the other ones actually now looked cheap, looking back, much more appealing!
