"Yes. The answer would be, um, Wedding Season?"

Maybe these two fellas feel that way, but boy am I glad to be done going to weddings. Don't get me wrong - I love supporting family and friends as they enter a new chapter in their lives. It's a beautiful thing. I don't love the time and money involved. This kind of sounds Scrooge-ish, but honestly...it's so true! Eric was best man in two weddings, usher in another, and we attended or sent gifts to 4 others. All since I've been pregnant! This may pale in comparison to some of you other couples. I feel sorry for you, although you may not feel sorry for yourselves.
Two weekends ago we spent the day in the Cities for my good friend Annie's wedding. It was so great to re-unite with college buddies. I haven't seen Anna since she moved to Virginia, Annie since last winter, and Erin since this summer. Not to mention Natalie! It was a HUGE surprise to see her there. She lived with us our sophomore year and then moved home to Truman. Haven't seen her since. That's been 6 years! How fun. The picture below represents the 2003 roommates of 416 Liberty Street (minus Holly). What great times...

I would also like to thank my lovely grandparents for hosting us that day. We confused them thoroughly with our plans. We were going to come Friday night, but drove up Saturday morning. We were going to stay Saturday night, and then ended up leaving late. Thank you for your understanding, company, and the delicious breakfast! We love you!!! <3
This past weekend we attended Eric's cousin Paul's wedding. I forgot my camera, so hopefully Eric's sister posts some photos on Facebook for me to steal! :) It was a beautiful yet hectic day. We had childbirth class in La Crosse from 8:30 -11:00 (leaving an hour and a half early) and then he had to rush to the wedding - he was best man. We also squeezed in time after the dance to meet up with some friends at ZaZa's. I impressed even my pregnant self by making it from 7am to 12:30am. Sad, but true!
